Spain has politicised fishing issue, say 96%

As many as 96% of respondents to a Panorama Online Poll take the view that Spain has politicised the fishing issue.
To the question 'Has fishing been politicised by Spain?', 96% said yes; and 4% said No. Everyone was quite clear on what they thought and there were no Don't Knows.
Comments were allowed,and it is clear there are very strong feelings.

*The Spanish fishermen operating out of Algeciras are using nets with very small mesh. The EU ought to levy heavy fines on them.

*Yes the Spanish do. They are overfishing everywhere to the point where they are destroying important foodchains. They have overfished certain species of tuna which at one time passed through the strait. Their methods of fishing are wrong and inhuman. In fact, their methods of everything are questionable, including pollution, "sports", and conservation. Mind you, if the king is going around shooting elephants, what can you expect from his people.
